The Opportunity

Support warehouse and yard setup/preparation according to the auction schedule. Uphold the organization’s Mission, Vision, and Values.

Specific Job Responsibilities

• Ensure employee and guest safety by following all safety procedures.
• Assist in yard and warehouse layout setup for efficient and safe space utilization.
• Handle yard and warehouse loading, unloading, customer interactions, and issue resolution.
• Support yard maintenance activities such as dust control, snow removal, fencing, and gates.
• Operate equipment skillfully and safely, ensuring all staff and customers do the same.
• Receive and accept consignments following company policies.
• Sort lots and set up consignments to maximize returns.
• Identify lots for optimal sales.
• Manage load-out and preview procedures.
• Assist with yard and warehouse previews.
• Follow inventory policies and procedures for incoming consignments.
• Meet deadlines and communicate progress effectively.
• Hold a forklift license and a rough terrain license.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Skills and Personal Attributes

• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
• Build and maintain strong customer and consignor relationships.
• Follow management’s communication and directives.

Minimum Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in an industrial or warehouse environment, including exposure to inclement weather.
• Strong time management, organizational skills, and adherence to health & safety policies.
• Experience operating heavy equipment, forklifts, and trucks.
• Experience with retail merchandising and asset management.
