Grey Street Media is a marketing and communications agency that manages web presence, social media, and branded materials for diverse clients across healthcare, professional services, industrial, and recreational sectors. We're a small but mighty team, and we're looking to grow our web development capabilities by creating beautiful, high‑performing websites for our clients.

The Role

We're looking for a WordPress specialist to join our team in a part‑time role. This isn't just about maintaining websites – you'll be helping us build out this capability for the agency and working directly with clients to deliver creative, functional web solutions.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Building and launching responsive WordPress websites using Elementor
  • Managing the technical side of websites: SMTP configuration, hosting, DNS records, SSL certificates
  • Troubleshooting and optimizing website performance and functionality
  • Working directly with clients to understand their needs and deliver solutions
  • Implementing SEO best practices and understanding how websites perform
  • Ensuring sites work beautifully across all devices and browsers
  • Maintaining and updating existing client websites
  • Setting up Google Analytics, UTM tracking, and other measurement tools for client campaigns
  • Collaborating with our team to ensure brand consistency and quality standards
What We're Looking For
Must‑haves
  • Strong WordPress expertise – you know the platform inside and out
  • Proficiency with Elementor – it's critical for daily work
  • Solid understanding of website fundamentals: image optimization, mobile responsiveness, page speed, accessibility
  • Experience with technical backend: hosting environments, DNS management, email configuration (SMTP), SSL
  • Familiarity with other major page builders (WP Bakery, Divi) – you should understand how they work
  • SEO best practices and how to implement them
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
  • Client‑facing skills – personable, communicative, can explain technical concepts in plain language
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Nice‑to‑have
  • Experience with Google Analytics, GA4, and UTM tracking
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript for customizations when needed
  • Familiarity with WooCommerce
  • Experience with WordPress plugins like Gravity Forms, ACF, Yoast, etc.
  • Understanding of marketing campaign tracking and measurement
  • Experience working in an agency environment
