A leading educational institution in Metro Vancouver seeks a qualified Welding Instructor to deliver Apprenticeship Levels 1, 2, and 3, as well as Welding Foundation courses. The ideal candidate must possess a British Columbia Certificate of Qualification, relevant pressure tickets, and a minimum of five years of industry experience. This role offers flexibility in scheduling, ranging from single days to several weeks. Candidates must also undergo a Criminal Record Check.

Kwantlen Polytechnic University's Welding program provides students with the necessary training to become professional welders. Students will develop the skill and knowledge to work safely and effectively in today's demanding industrial environment.
The Faculty of Trades and Technology is currently seeking a Non-regular Type 1 Welding Instructor to provide short-term delivery of Apprenticeship Levels 1, 2, and 3, Welding Foundation and/or Levels B and A which may extend from a single day to several weeks.
More information concerning the working conditions for a faculty member are outlined in Article 12 of the Kwantlen Faculty Association (KFA) Collective Agreement.
Candidates will be required to undergo a Criminal Record Check.
Placement on the salary scale will be dependent on level of education and relevant teaching experience. Advancement up the pay scale is based on FTE and employment status.
