Part-Time Web Developer (WordPress) – Netsmart Inc. (posted on Indeed)

Role: Web Developer (WordPress/Elementor). This is an ongoing, part-time employee role with flexible weekly hours; some weeks may be light and others may ramp up around launches. If you’re in Edmonton, occasional in-person collaboration is welcome but not required.

What you’ll do
  • Build and update pages in WordPress + Elementor (layouts, sections, landing pages)
  • Ongoing site changes: content edits, page refreshes, navigation tweaks, new sections
  • Keep the site stable: plugin/theme updates, basic troubleshooting, backups/housekeeping
  • Help improve UX and consistency (spacing, typography, responsiveness)
  • Light performance hygiene (image optimization, basic speed best practices)
  • Collaborate with the team on design direction and rollout plans
  • Occasionally create simple assets (icons/badges/graphics) or prep visuals for web use
Qualifications
  • Strong experience with WordPress and Elementor
  • Confident with responsive design (mobile/tablet/desktop)
  • Comfortable with light HTML/CSS; basic JS is a bonus
  • Good judgment around plugins and site stability
  • Clear communicator who can work independently and meet deadlines
Nice to have
  • Familiarity with common WP plugins (forms, SEO, security, caching)
  • Basic design ability (layout, typography, consistent icon style)
  • Figma / Illustrator / Canva (any is fine)
Working style & expectations
