ABOUT THE ROLE

Amrize is looking for a Water Truck Driver who will be operating a tandem dump truck within the city of Calgary.

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH
  • Pre and post trip inspections.
  • Minor truck maintenance.
  • Haul various materials to and from site.
  • Operate vehicle in a safe manner adhering to Safety policies and procedures
  • Other labour duties as required.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Required Training/Certifications: Minimum valid Class 3 Drivers License and Q Endorsement

Additional Requirements:

  • Knowledge of the City of Calgary an asset.
  • Knowledge of Construction an asset.
  • This position is physically demanding and requires crouching, bending, lifting, and kneeling.
  • The successful candidate will be expected to exercise sound judgment, work safely and communicate effectively in a team
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
