Overview

The Warehouse Supervisor contributes to the success of PepsiCo Beverages Canada by ensuring the availability of product to meet customer needs and improve productivity. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for working with co-supervisor to manage, develop and train a team of 70 capable frontline unionized employees, including Order Pickers and Forklift Operators. Responsibilities also include working on continuous improvement projects, managing equipment availability, strategizing to improve pick efficiency, managing the warehouse inventory, transport and receiving of full goods, and collaborating with other departments to drive overall improvement.

Compensation: $63,300 - $103,200

Responsibilities
  • Compliance with all Health & Safety regulations as well as Quality Control protocols
  • Building team capability through hiring, training, and on-boarding unionized front‑line hourly personnel
  • Executing Warehouse Annual Operating Plan
  • Applying critical thinking and troubleshooting techniques to solve operational challenges.
  • Managing performance standards through active coaching, effective communication and building of team relationships
  • Applying critical thinking and troubleshooting techniques to solve operational challenges
  • Understanding and transferring warehouse operations knowledge to others including resource requirements, layout, route/bulk/transport loading, settlement and Department Of Transportation (DOT) regulations
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Experience in consumer‑packaged goods or a related industry preferred
  • 4+ years work experience in a supervisory position preferred
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written), and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to adapt & learn as required by the business
  • Previous experiences leading in a unionized environment is an asset
  • Hands‑on experience on implementing operational process is an asset
  • Self‑starter, with the ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks without losing momentum
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings and/or weekends to support business needs & vacation coverage
  • Demonstrate planning and organization skills
  • Demonstrate intermediate computer skills such as Microsoft Office 365
