Overview
Role : We have an immediate opening for a Painter / Warehouse Worker located in the Edmonton branch. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the laborer will usually work as part of a two-person crew, this position will assist in the painting and modification of residential or commercial doors while learning on the job from the Lead Warehouse Technician. This role is a permanent, full time position with opportunities for advancement.
Responsibilities
- Painting, building, modification, and overlay of door panels.
- General warehouse duties in addition to painting, building, and overlay of door panels as needed.
- Processes all incoming materials and outgoing shipments. Maintains inventory control. Logs in all deliveries and provides sample and quantity information to manager.
- Makes deliveries and pick-ups and obtains appropriate signatures.
- Maintains cleanliness and service of company vehicle including items such as gas, oil changes, updating inspection sticker, and keeping current insurance card in glove box.
- Creates recycle pallets and calls for pick-up.
- Keeps warehouse neat and organized; maintains a clean work area and conducts weekly cleaning as needed.
- Conducts inventory checks and provides reports to the Warehouse Manager. Maintains rolling inventory of ongoing jobs per company policy and procedure.
- Conducts quality control checks on production.
- Has a general knowledge of industry standards, company policies, and procedures.
- At day’s end, ensures equipment is turned off and the building is secured per company policy and procedures.
- Other duties may be assigned.

- Possess a valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract.
- New hire candidates will be required to provide a current Driver’s Abstract from the province in which the position is located, at their own cost.

Education and Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
