RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Warehouse Manager at the Agronomy Centre, reporting to the Crop Supply Manager, you will be expected to provide operational excellence and be accountable to:

• Oversee the warehouse facility, including inventory control, management, and participation in the audit process as required.
• Manage the warehouse team of 6-7 staff members, including training, development, performance management, and scheduling, with attention to time management.
• Assist the Crop Supply Manager and Assistant Crop Supply Manager with inventory procurement.
• Coordinate and execute operational duties such as customer service, receiving, storing, and fulfilling requisitions/work orders from customers/applicators.
• Coordinate loading of products on trucks for delivery to branches and producers, working closely with delivery drivers.
• Operate forklifts for extended periods and maintain the facility and grounds to meet CPIC standards.
• Ensure that team members exercise efficient and safe processes at all times.

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong knowledge of chemical and warehouse operations, along with organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Previous commodity and team management experience preferred.
• This position is classified as a Safety Sensitive Position and is subject to Pioneer Co-op’s Alcohol & Substance policy as a condition of employment.
• Ability to work various shifts, including weekends and extended hours.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform heavy lifting.
