Overview

Onsite - This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the Edmonton PDC site on a full-time basis. General Motors of Canada Company CCA is a world-class automotive parts distribution network supplying General Motors dealerships and Delco distributors worldwide. The Edmonton PDC is the regional GM automotive parts and ACDelco supplier. The facility supports the western Canadian portion of the network which spans across four provinces and two territories. Our plant mission statement is, “Working together we will provide the right part, at the right time at the right cost” and we take pride in our values, processes, and philosophies.

Summary

As an integral part of the Edmonton PDC team, you will perform multiple hands-on tasks associated with warehousing functions in a standardized, structured environment. You will be part of one team of engaged, customer-centric employees delivering outstanding results who share in General Motors’ purpose and values.

Physical Demands of the Job
  • The employee is regularly required to walk and/or transport automotive parts via carts.
  • The employee is regularly required to reach, move, push, pull, and/or lift automotive parts with both arms.
  • The employee must be able to bend and/or twist repetitively.
  • The employee must be able to grip and pinch with both hands and use various hand tools as well as a scanner.
  • Candidates must be comfortable working at heights.
