Our clients’ shipments from bus parts to food product are delivered safely, securely and on time throughout our service area. We offer cost-effective solutions that work within your time frames and your budget.

We are currently looking for a qualified WAREHOUSE ADMINISTRATOR for our Vision Transportation warehouse located in Belleville. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with weekend shifts as needed.

Our Warehouse Administrators oversee the management of inventory. Communication with various groups internally (warehouse staff, logistics team, drivers etc.), is important and happens often.

This particular role handles the paperwork flow and driver coordination with the warehouse team, controlling yard access and the overall time management of carriers coming and going.

This role includes receiving, issuing, and dispatching stock, and handling communication between freight companies and warehouse customers.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain paperwork and records of each shipment, file and maintain for future reference
  • Prepare outgoing orders, create shipping labels, BOL, and related paperwork
  • File inbound container related paperwork and facilitate communications with customers & leads.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to Health & Safety procedures
  • Maintain work area in a clean and safe condition, reporting any unsafe acts or conditions to supervisor or team lead.
  • Work with other staff members to ensure that customer orders are picked, packed, prioritized and staged, with emphasis on accuracy!
  • Assist with coordinating daily warehouse functions with Warehouse Supervisor and Team leaders.
  • Provide shipping labels to parcels as operation requires
  • Ensure orders are not duplicated and calling out any suspicious driver activity.
  • Communicate with carriers and drivers.
  • Check receiving outbound documents to ensure that orders are received properly from logistics team and carriers.
