Volunteer Role: Tech Program Lead – Digital Media & AI Incubation

3‑10 hours per week, January 10, 2026 – March 31, 2026. Remote.

Organization: IWIL Ignite – a non‑profit dedicated to digital media literacy and AI skills for youth, women, newcomers, and small businesses across Canada.

Position summary: design, build, and execute our Digital Media and AI Incubation programs; lead a volunteer team; work with the founder; shape curriculum and delivery.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and structure digital media and AI incubation programs.
• Develop curriculum, learning tracks, and workshop formats.
• Lead and coordinate a team of tech and content volunteers (e.g., webinars).
• Create hands‑on projects, challenges, and case studies.
• Support delivery of webinars, bootcamps, and in‑person programs.
• Contribute to partnerships with academia, startups, and industry.

Ideal candidate:

• Background in technology, AI, digital media, product, or innovation.
• Experience teaching, mentoring, training, or program design.
• Comfortable leading small teams and managing projects.
• Strong communication and organization skills.
• Passion for education, inclusion, and future skills.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or completed degree/diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Media, Design, Engineering, Business, Communications, Innovation or Entrepreneurship.
• Nice to have: Google Digital Marketing or Data Certification, Microsoft AI Fundamentals, Coursera or edX certificates in AI, product, or tech.
