Overview

As a Canadian manufacturing company serving advanced manufacturing sectors including automotive, industrial, alternative energy, electronics, and aerospace. Poised for significant growth and strategic acquisitions, the organization is creating a new role of Vice-President, Finance to lead the modernization of its North American finance function and support its next phase of expansion.

A succession role to CFO, this is a high-impact opportunity for a strategic and operational leader to work with executive leadership supporting operations in Canada, United States, and Mexico.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the transformation of finance and accounting processes to support growth.
  • Build a robust FP&A capability to support organizational performance.
  • Implement ERP systems, strengthen financial reporting and financial analytic tools.
  • Provide business-critical financial guidance to executive leadership.
  • Exposure to M&A for business growth.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team.
Qualifications
  • CPA designation with a degree in Finance or Business Administration; MBA (preferred).
  • 10–15 years of progressive financial leadership, including 5+ years in a senior finance role within automotive, advanced manufacturing, or a related sector.
  • Strong expertise in IFRS, cost accounting, FP&A, cross-border taxation/transfer pricing.
  • Experience supporting M&A activity and growth-driven financial strategies (preferred).
  • Knowledge of OEM/Tier 1 relationships, supply chains/commercial frameworks.
  • Experience implementing and optimizing ERP and financial reporting systems.
  • A collaborative, engaging leadership style with passion for coaching and team development.
