Overview

Veterinary Reception, Client Care
Location: Lake Country, BC (north of Kelowna)

Tri Lake Animal Hospital and Referral Centre is currently welcoming a full-time customer service-focused Client Care Representative to join our team. This opportunity includes a range of responsibilities that directly contribute to the efficient and effective daily operation of the hospital. Your primary responsibility is to ensure our clients and their pets feel welcomed, expertly cared for, and appreciated.

Responsibilities
  • Create a warm and welcoming environment for our patients and pet parents
  • Answer a multi-line phone system and track and book appointments effectively
  • Place outbound calls to pet parents for follow-up and future appointment bookings
  • Respond to and manage email correspondence; clients, referring veterinarians & internal office messages
  • Admit and discharge pet patients
  • Invoicing/billing; create estimates and explain fees, obtain pet owner confirmation and process payments
  • Schedule appointments
  • Provide excellent customer service and a genuine ability to put people at ease
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills
  • General housekeeping duties; maintain cleanliness of reception area, pet holding areas and common areas, including the removal of animal waste
  • Willingness to learn more regarding veterinary services, updated medical office procedures and assist the veterinary staff with various tasks and treatments
Compensation

Compensation: Starting at $18.00 per hour, and go up based on relevant experience.
