Position Overview

The Acting Medical Director, serving as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and Designated Registrant for the Practice, exemplifies the highest standards of veterinary medicine while providing medical leadership to the Practice.

This role primarily entails clinical responsibilities, with approximately 5% to 10% of the time allocated to Medical Director duties.

As a senior member of the practice management team, the Acting Medical Director integrates clinical expertise with a commitment to adhering to veterinary codes of ethics and regulatory standards.

This position requires solution-oriented skills, emotional intelligence, and a servant leadership approach aimed at fostering excellence in veterinary medicine.

Candidates must possess or be eligible for a Private Practice license with the College of Veterinarians of British Columbia (CVBC) at the time of application.
