About the Role: Vendor Manager, PC Components

As a Vendor Manager, you will work closely with internal teams such as merchandising, buying, pricing, inventory management, and finance to develop and execute category growth strategies. You will have the opportunity to lead negotiations, optimize supply chain processes, and drive profitability.

In this role, you will:

  • Build and manage strong vendor and brand relationships to drive category growth.
  • Lead contract negotiations, selection optimization, and inventory forecasting.
  • Conduct detailed analytics to identify opportunities for category expansion.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, pricing, and operations teams to enhance the customer experience.
  • Own the P&L for the category, ensuring profitability and sustained performance.

As part of Amazon Canada’s Hardlines Team, you will gain valuable experience in retail strategy, vendor management, financial analysis, and e-commerce operations.

Requirements / Skills

To succeed in this role, candidates should have:

  • 5+ years of experience in account management, project/program management, or buying.
  • 4+ years of experience in roles such as financial analysis, retail buying, retail planning, e-commerce, pricing, or marketing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to drive data-based decision-making.
  • Experience in cross-team collaboration and stakeholder engagement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in consulting, investment banking, or brand management.
  • Background in financial modeling, negotiation, or supply chain management.
