Job description

Are you a passionate UX Designer with a heart for making a difference? Do you thrive in a dynamic team environment where your skills can directly impact lives around the globe? If you are passionate about user-centred design, ethical storytelling, and creating digital journeys that move people from interest to action, we would love to meet you.

We’re looking for a UX Designer who sees design not just as aesthetics, but as ministry in motion—creating digital experiences that inspire generosity, deepen engagement, and connect supporters to the real stories of community-led transformation around the world.

Position Summary

As our UX Designe r, you will shape the digital experience of donors and supporters across web, email, and social platforms. You will translate strategy into intuitive, visually compelling, and conversion-focused design that strengthens engagement and builds trust.

This role sits at the intersection of creativity, strategy, and impact. You will collaborate closely with writers, marketers, fundraisers, and external partners to ensure every digital touchpoint reflects our brand, honours the dignity of the communities we serve, and supports meaningful donor journeys.

About You

As our ideal candidate, you are both strategic and detail-oriented, with a passion for creating digital experiences that inspire action and generosity. You believe thoughtful, user-centred design can deepen connection and trust—and you’re motivated by work that contributes to lasting global impact. Your eye for detail ensures accuracy and consistency in all communications and marketing materials. And finally, you have a heart for impact and you’re deeply supportive of FH Canada’s core values.

THE JOB
  • Lead UX and digital design across websites, landing pages, campaign microsites, email campaigns, and digital advertising.
  • Design user-centered web experiences including wireframes, mockups, prototypes, content layouts, and responsive interfaces that follow accessibility best practices.
  • Create and optimize mobile-responsive email templates and campaigns in collaboration with marketing and fundraising teams to improve engagement and conversion.
  • Develop creative assets for organic social media, paid campaigns, and multi-platform digital advertising while maintaining strong brand consistency.
  • Uphold and evolve FH Canada’s digital brand standards, templates, and design systems, ensuring ethical, respectful, and culturally appropriate representation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver high-quality projects on time and on budget, using data and insights to continuously improve performance.
What You’ll Bring
  • Understanding and experience in nonprofit, fundraising, or mission-driven environments (an asset).
  • Comfortable communicating with audiences of all backgrounds, yet attuned to the Canadian Christian subculture.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in UX Design, Mobile and Web Design, Marketing, Design Systems and extensive experience in web ad design. Motion design is a bonus.
  • 3+ years of experience designing digital experiences for web, email, and social platforms.
  • A strong understanding of UX principles, accessibility standards, and responsive design best practices.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience working with CMS platforms and email marketing tools (Mailchimp preferred).
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to translate strategy into clear, compelling design.
  • A high level of integrity in the ethical use of images, storytelling, and digital assets
Requirements
  • Personal and professional dedication to FH Canada’s core values and comfortable working in a Christian environment.
  • Secure home workspace with reliable internet connection required.
