Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Manitoba is looking for an Ultrasound Technologist III who will be responsible for producing high-frequency ultrasound recordings essential for diagnosing circulatory system issues. The role requires at least two ARDMS registries, including Vascular (RVT), and a minimum of one year of experience in a clinic or hospital setting. Candidates should have a strong knowledge of ultrasound procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work compassionately with patients. This position is vital for maintaining quality care standards within the organization.

Qualifications

  • Must have two or more registries including Vascular (RVT) through the ARDMS.
  • Current CPR certification is required.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a clinic or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

  • Explains process to patient and assists in assuming position for examination.
  • Operates equipment to produce images of internal organs.
  • Records diagnostic data in PAC system.

Skills

Knowledge of ultrasound procedures and protocols
Skill in production of sonograms meeting physician expectations
Ability to communicate clearly
Skill in performing quality exams
Knowledge of customer service concepts

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
