A national sports organization is seeking an Assistant Coach for the U17 Women’s National Team to lead athlete development during training and competition. Candidates should have NCCP certification, experience with high-performing teams, and demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills. The role requires commitment to Canada's women’s high-performance program and planning training activities. Bilingualism is a plus. This is a contract position for 16 weeks starting March 2026, based in Toronto, Canada.
Canada Basketball is the national sport governing body for amateur basketball in Canada. The U17 Women’s National Team will be comprised of athletes born January 1, 2009 or later, who have Canadian citizenship. This year, the team selected will compete at the 2026 FIBA U17 Women’s World Cup July 11th-19th in Czechia.
