On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Senior C# .NET Developer to add to our team as we move into the next stage of growth. Our client's core mission is to provide value through a SaaS, serverless, microservices-based, domain driven, data, integration, and intelligence platform for manufacturing-based businesses using IoT, RTLS technologies and AI / Machine Learning and rules-engine underpinnings.

We are looking for an experienced, proactive, disciplined developer with very strong skills in developing efficient, reliable Azure-based backend services and REST APIs. We need someone who can effectively advance our services and API stories working within our agile disciplines and the domain driven and services-based back-end architecture. Strong coding standards with a commitment to quality, documentation and test-driven development principles are keys to this role. While not TDD, our organization is serious about test automation as a key ingredient to solution design and development.

Qualifications

1. Strong developer in the Azure platform backend technologies including C# and REST APIs.
2. Experience developing solutions based on a Microservice design and architecture.
3. Capable with Azure Functions and components such as Event Grid and API Gateway.
4. Comfortable and efficient with Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, DevOps and Git.
5. Experience with Entity Frameworks' strengths and shortcomings.
6. Able to make good, supportable recommendations for design and implementation techniques.
7. Strong communicator. Confident with the team in general, and product team more specifically.
8. Be insightful when working with specifications and acceptance criteria. Interpret information and work with product and QA to get answers or input.
9. Organized and proactive in getting things done and closing out tasks. Follow the processes.
