Job Title: Truck Helper

Job Type: Temporary Ongoing

Location: Dartmouth, Nova Scotia (various work locations)

Shift: Monday- Thursday , 4pm-4am.

Hourly Pay: $17.00/ hr

Our client is looking for a Truck Helper Associate to work on moving items in/out of a delivery truck. The Driver Helper plays a key support role alongside the Delivery Driver to ensure the efficient and safe delivery of fuel to residential and commercial customers. This is a physically demanding position that involves working in outdoor conditions and requires strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Driver:
  Support the driver with navigation, delivery setup, and ensuring daily routes are completed efficiently and safely.
• Hauling Hoses:
  Handle and maneuver heavy fuel hoses to and from the delivery vehicle during service stops.
• Fueling Homes and Commercial Buildings:
  Assist with connecting hoses to fill tanks at customer sites while following all safety protocols and company procedures.
• Loading and Unloading Equipment:
  Help load and unload delivery materials, tools, and safety equipment as required.
• Other Duties as Assigned:
  Perform general labour tasks, maintain a clean and organized work area, and follow any additional instructions from the driver or supervisor.
