Job purpose

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Treasury Co-op Student to join our team this Summer 2026 term. If you're ready to dive into a sea of opportunities and tackle hands-on experience in treasury operations, this role is for you! With a focus on credit and deductions management, the position is ideal for students in their 3rd or 4th year of university or college, or those who have recently graduated. You will have the chance to work on diverse projects, collaborate with internal business partners, and support various treasury initiatives, ensuring you gain valuable skills and experience while working in a fast-paced and innovative environment.

Essential duties and responsibilities
  • Credit and Deductions Management:
    • Assist the Sr. Deductions Coordinator and Manager of Credit and Deductions in managing customer deductions and credit processes.
    • Analyze and reconcile customer accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies.
    • Support the preparation and processing of credit memos and adjustments.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Collect and analyze data related to credit and deductions.
    • Prepare reports and presentations on credit and deductions metrics.
    • Identify trends and areas for improvement based on data analysis.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to credit and deductions management.
    • Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for treasury processes.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Provide administrative support to the treasury team, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking meeting minutes.
    • Assist in the management of treasury documentation and records.
Qualifications
  • Co-op Student enrolled in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related program.
  • Excellent people skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams to gather information and solve problems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Critical thinker and a team player.
  • Ability to gather, analyze, and interpret various data.
  • Good computer skills.
