The Training Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the training and administrative functions, ensuring the smooth operation of a maintenance railway site. This role involves coordinating Training activities, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and schedule internal and external training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
  • Maintain training records, attendance, and evaluation data.
  • Manage training logistics, including venue booking, equipment setup, and communication with participants.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations related to training.
  • Liaise with external training providers and vendors as needed.
  • Manage administrative tasks including scheduling, correspondence, and document control.
  • Onboard new employees and manage their starting needs (workwear, security access, Maximo, etc.).
  • Liaise with Human Resources to ensure medical records supporting certifications are kept and updated.
  • Monitor and control department expenses (Purchase Orders, credits, etc.).
