Qualifications

• Experience in trailer body and frame repair is essential.
• Interest in continually upgrading skills and knowledge in trade.
• Safety Inspections Certificate is an asset.

• Complete thorough and quality diagnostic, service and repair trailers.

Maxim is currently seeking aTRAILER TECHNICIANfor our Edmonton Location. The successful candidate will work independently to complete the diagnostics, service and repair of heavy duty trucks and trailers. This is a great opportunity to offer outstanding customer satisfaction while working as a valuable member of Maxim’s prospering team!

Hours:

• Two week rotation of day and evening shifts required

o Week 1: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday

o Week 2:3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday to Friday

o Friday-Monday, 10-hour shifts

Responsibilities:

• Performs body and frame repair including Interior and exterior wall panel repair/replacement, roof and floor repair/replace, side rail and frame repair/replace
• Complete thorough and quality diagnostic, service and repair trailers
• Identify potential and future problems
• Make recommendations on repairs or replacement parts
• Update the Service Manager on completion time changes
• Road test the unit to ensure quality of work completed
• Document repairs, parts, or problems encountered during repair process on repair order
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications:

• Trailer Journeyman designation or equivalent experience
• Experience in trailer body and frame repair
• Interest in continually upgrading skills and knowledge in trade
• Safety Inspections Certificate an asset and may become required
• Valid Class One with Air Driver’s License an asset (for road testing)
