We are currently hiring tractor and trailer technicians in our brand new shop in Howden, MB.

Job Summary

Perform preventative maintenance checks and servicing. Perform work that includes electrical, interior, air brake system, tire, body repairs and welding as required. Complete safety inspections (if licensed to). Quick check units in yard for visible and audible defects. Maintain a clean, organized work area. Comply with company safety standards. Other duties as assigned by Maintenance Manager.

Requirements

• 1-2 years related experience (Government Inspection Certification preferred)
• Physically capable of keeping up with job demands (e.g., heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, working outside when required, balance and coordination)
• Your own basic set of tools
• Full cooperation and input with safety guidelines
• Work shift flexibility. We will have a set schedule, but coming in early and staying late will occasionally be asked. Compensation will be provided.
