Overview

Are you passionate about sports and helping young children stay active? Join our team at Amazing Athletes JumpBunch of Southern CT as a Youth Sports Coach for toddlers and preschoolers!

In this role, you\'ll have the opportunity to teach children ages 18 months to 6 years the basic fundamentals of various sports in a fun and non-competitive environment. Our goal is to encourage healthy habits and build confidence in young athletes while ensuring they have a great time!

Schedule and Location

This position offers flexibility with part-time hours and competitive pay. Classes are typically held in the mornings and early afternoons, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Lead sports-based activities for toddlers and preschoolers (ages 18 months to 6 years) in a fun, non-competitive environment.
  • Maintain a positive, engaging attitude and build confidence in young athletes.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, daycare/preschool staff, and team members.
Qualifications
  • Experience working with toddlers and preschool-aged children; professional experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A positive attitude and a love for sports and teaching young children.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and possess a clean criminal background check.
  • Reliable transportation is required; travel to different locations within the community (up to ~30 minutes or more). Long-distance travel will be reimbursed.
  • CPR certification is a plus, though not required.
  • Ability to maintain a positive relationship with parents, teachers, and staff at daycare/preschool locations.
Job Details

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Training pay - $17.00; Fully trained pay - $21.00; Staff is entitled to at least 1.5 hours of minimum pay each time they work.
