What will you do?

A prominent role and integral part of our growth strategy for Siemens’ innovative Fire solution portfolio.

Working within and supported by a skilled and technical team, focused on developing new opportunities in a strategically key Fire territory.

  • Manage growth and development of existing sales channels, including but not limited to System Integrators and distributors
  • Identify, validate and present new business opportunities, engaging appropriate internal resources to execute and deliver
  • Influence, direct and lead sales activities within Consultant, Electrical Contractors and End user customer types
  • Drive market transparency through intimate engagement and support of each sales channel
  • Monitor and guide sales channel performance; take necessary action to meet financial commitments
  • Lead Siemens’ specification and market acceptance, leveraging our innovative portfolio and driving digitalization

What will you need to succeed?

  • Intimate knowledge of Fire Protection Systems, specifically, detection, notification and suppression.
  • Technical knowledge Control Panel, Smoke/Carbon Monoxide detectors, pull stations, Sirens, Speakers, Strobes
  • 2-5 year experience minimum in technical sales, installation/service or engineering of Fire Protection Systems
  • Familiarity and understanding of the Fire market and respective industry codes standards and regulations
  • College or University degree in related field
  • Demonstrable success in business development and account management
  • Strong leadership, coaching and communication skills
  • Autonomous, results driven, able to prioritize
  • Ability to develop and grow strong relationships; influencing at multiple business levels
  • Capacity to quickly learn and promote technical solutions within Fire Protection environments
  • Travel throughout the Province of Quebec and Atlantic provinces; plus Ottawa as business requires
  • Very good knowledge ofFrench & Englishboth written and spoken
