Job Overview

Eyeline is a global team of risk takers, innovators and perfectionists who achieve creative visions and have fun doing it. A dynamic workforce nested within the industry’s most intriguing cities, united by a drive to push the boundaries of storytelling.

Eyeline Studios is seeking a Technical Workflow Designer to build and implement cutting‑edge workflows that support multiple machine learning–driven projects within our Visual Pioneering Group. This unique role requires a highly technical systems designer who is also an accomplished visual artist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Workflow Supervisor and team leads to define artist needs and workflow priorities
  • Design, build, and test new workflows based on creative and technical requirements, following established best practices and standards
  • Ensure workflows are functional, scalable, and flexible enough to be reused and adapted across multiple projects
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve existing workflows in response to project demands and user feedback
  • Create clear documentation and training material to support artist onboarding and cross‑team understanding
  • Champion usability and continuous improvement, ensuring workflows remain intuitive, artist‑friendly, and production‑ready
  • Support the rollout and integration of new workflows, collaborating with production teams to ensure seamless adoption
  • Apply technical artistry and a refined artistic eye to ensure all system outputs are photorealistic and meet film production quality standards
  • Train and fine‑tune specialized visual creation models using advanced ML techniques (e.g., checkpoints, LoRAs, embeddings, and control‑like mechanisms)
  • Convert cutting‑edge research including new models, samplers, and academic papers into practical, production‑stable tools through rapid prototyping and iteration
  • Engineer complex, scalable workflows that integrate open‑source models and proprietary tools into cohesive, production‑ready pipelines
  • Translate artistic intent into executable technical solutions, developing logic and parameters that enable artists to generate photorealistic visuals from prompts, sketches, or scene inputs
  • Design intuitive interfaces and toolsets that empower non‑technical artists to effectively leverage advanced ML systems
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate emerging technologies, research repositories, and workflow ecosystems to identify, test, and integrate next‑generation visual creation tools such as DeepBeepMeep, Fal, and GripTape
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience working in workflow development, technical direction, or creative technology in a production environment
  • Strong hands‑on experience with ComfyUI, including designing advanced workflows and using or adapting community extensions. Knowledge of writing or modifying custom ComfyUI nodes
  • Familiarity with key image creation systems and techniques (e.g., Stable Diffusion, ControlNet, IPAdapter, Fine‑Tuning including LoRAs, Flux, Hooks, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of prompt engineering in the context of diffusion models and how prompt‑based generation systems translate into visual outputs
  • Foundational knowledge of machine learning workflows and data structures used in visual content pipelines
  • Experience with other diffusion platforms and services like DeepBeepMeep, GripTape, Fal, etc. in a workflow or tooling context
  • Familiarity with UI/UX principles as they relate to building intuitive, efficient tools for artists
  • Ability to translate artist needs into technical solutions through strong collaboration and communication
  • Comfortable working with internal documentation and task management tools such as Confluence and ClickUp
  • Self‑motivated, organized, and eager to explore new technologies, models, and production methods
  • Expert proficiency in Python for node logic, scripting, ML workflow orchestration, and writing reusable, efficient code for high‑level APIs (e.g., Hugging Face diffusion pipeline)
  • Capable of sharing knowledge and instructing team members in new methodologies
  • Ability to assist on projects with shot work to establish key looks or workflows to the highest level of photorealistic fidelity
