Overview

As Team Leader- Reserves, you’ll be responsible for leading a high-performance team to set accurate and timely reserves for our corporate clients across Global Excel’s markets. The reserve setting process is critical for our clients to ensure the proper funds are provisioned and that the correct decisions are made during case management (either by Global Excel or our corporate clients).

What does your typical day look like?
  • Encourage, implement and lead employees through change by innovating different ways of doing business in order to increase reserve accuracy, production and turnaround time;
  • Establish and maintain tracking of metrics within the department to ensure productivity and to provide feedback to employees on a continuous basis;
  • Participate, plan and implement reserving processes within the team for new clients or modifications to existing clients;
  • Identify areas of improvement to streamline our reserve setting process to gain efficiency through technology;
  • Ensure the team delivers on business results in all aspects of ownership, emphasizing efforts directly related to corporate direction;
  • Ensure financial and reserve targets are being met or surpassed.
What skills and experience are we looking for?
  • Bachelor’s degree desired with business emphasis, and 5 years’ experience in a leadership or related role;
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft suite of products and knowledge of Sharepoint;
  • Reserves experience is an asset;
  • Experience with people management.
