Our client first opened as a family business over 40 years ago and are a fast-growing retailer of contemporary and modern furniture. They are looking for a Team Lead for their brand-new warehouse which has just opened in the Fraser Valley.

The tasks consist of:
  • Coordinating a team of 8-10 associates.
  • Welcoming and training new employees.
  • Collaborating in physical work with the team.
  • Operating a reach forklift to move products.
  • Conducting daily team meetings in accordance with each day’s action plan.
  • Planning operations and resource allocations for shipping and receiving.
  • Relaying real-time information to the team to maximize production.
  • Ensuring all products are placed on the trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Communicating frequently with the manager to optimize operations.
  • Ensuring compliance with the standards for the merchandise.
  • Maintaining a safe work environment and reporting and recording any incidences.
  • Actively encouraging positive culture, teamwork, and collaboration.
  • Carrying out other tasks as related to this position.
