As a Travel Registered Nurse in NL, you’ll deliver exceptional patient care in diverse hospital settings, from bustling urban ERs to remote community clinics. Whether you specialize in Medical/Surgical, ER, OR, L&D/OB, or Nurse Practitioner care, your expertise will be crucial in supporting NL’s healthcare system. We handle travel and accommodations so you can focus on providing outstanding care.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as required
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop tailored care plans
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and healthcare teams
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with BC healthcare standards
  • Educate patients and families on post-discharge care
  • Adapt seamlessly to new clinical environments and protocols
  • Provide care while ensuring that the emotional, physical comfort, and safety of clients are met to the greatest extent; care must be within the scope of practice of the relevant discipline
Education and Qualifications
  • Diploma/Degree (RN) and proof of good standing with the College of Nurses
  • Valid certifications required: PALS, TNCC, CTAS, BLS, ACLS
  • At least 2-3 years of recent Canadian hospital experience
  • Recent CRC/Vulnerable sector check within the past 180 days
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and teaching skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness and ability to travel from assignment to assignment
