Position Details

Title of Course: History and Philosophy of Physical Activity and Sport

Compensation: Teaching Assistant, Course Coordinator, and Lab Demonstrator positions are paid according to qualifications:

  • Undergraduate rate: $20.81/hr (for employees without a 4-year honours or 3-year pass degree)
  • Graduate rate: $32.74/hr (for employees with a 4-year honours or 3-year pass degree)
  • Additional duties are compensated at the appropriate Teaching Assistant rate.
Duties

The duties include scheduled contact with students and non-classroom responsibilities such as preparing seminar materials, student consultations, grading, exam proctoring, attending lectures, holding office hours, and other administrative tasks, in accordance with Article 22 of the CUPE Local 4207, Unit 1, Collective Agreement.

Qualifications
  • Must have a degree in Kinesiology or equivalent and be enrolled in a Kinesiology graduate program.
  • Must have experience with or knowledge of the course material.
