Job summary

A leading transportation company in Saint-Bruno is looking for a TCMS Software Tester. You will develop and validate test procedures for train software and maintain the testing environment. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in software engineering or a related field, and fluency in English and French is mandatory. Qualifications

  • Experience with software continuous integration process and tools is an asset.
  • Understanding of Ethernet network is an asset.
  • System or Software Integration and Architecture experience is an asset.

The development team requires readily available test benches to validate newly developed software or reproduce/diagnose any issues arising on service trains.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop, validate and execute test procedures for the validation of the train-born software
  • Maintain the test benches and laboratory environment
    • Test tools development and improvement
    • Network configuration
    • Wiring and cables
    • Physical integration
  • Assist in the design, planning and execution of the test environment improvement
REQUIRED PROFILE
  • Bachelor degree in software engineering, computer science, electronic or equivalent.
  • Other College Degree may also be considered based on relevant experience.
  • Microsoft Office
  • Mechanical and electrical CAD tool (Asset)
  • Understanding of Ethernet network (Asset)
  • Basic knowledge of software continuous integration process and tools (Asset)
  • System or Software Integration and Architecture experience/understanding (Asset)
  • Operational English and French langages, mandatory
