Position Description:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will report to the President and is responsible for performing the following tasks:

  • Prepare and post job descriptions to appropriate websites
  • Source and attract candidates using various tools
  • Create and maintain applicant records.
  • Efficiently fill open positions.
  • Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need.
  • Support weekly and quarterly reporting as required.
  • Respond to candidate inquiries and issues.
  • Provide support for improvement initiatives.
  • Schedule & facilitate pre-employment reference checks.
  • Assist with onboarding procedures for new employees

This position will be eligible for bonuses based on successful placements in addition to their base pay.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in IT recruitment which includes project coordination in a large enterprise setting
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Ability to build long-term business relationships in a fast paced, demanding environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency with all applications in the Microsoft Office Suite (Intermediate level required, Advanced preferred).
  • Demonstrated professional maturity and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high quality work.
  • Must have in-depth knowledge of job boards and social media recruitment tools
