In Home Assisted Living Inc.of Belleville is looking for compassionate, caring and reliable individuals to join our family. As a Tagalog speaking Registered Practical Nurse RPN you will support our clients providing Personal care. Work setting is within a private home in Belleville. As an employee, you will make a difference in the lives of our clients and their families through compassionate client focused care.

How You Will Spend Your Days:

Provide personal care and nursing care for a patient in their home

Assist patient and her family with complex medical care issues

Support independence, dignity, social and emotional health

Develop & maintain relationships with clients and their families

Provide companionship and living assistance

Assist with mobility using a Hoyer lift and wheelchair

Provide personal care, bathing and hygiene assistance

Monitor and administer medications

Success In This Role:

RPN Certification recognized by the CNO

Experience with mobility transfers

Strong reading and verbal English/Tagalog language skills

Knowledge of clinical infection control protocols

How You Will Spend Your Days:

Assistance with personal care, hygiene, and grooming (ADL’s)

Light Housekeeping (IADL’s vacuuming, laundry, dishes etc.)

Basic Meal Preparation

Medication Reminders

Assisting clients with mobility, ambulation, and transfers

Providing companionship and emotional support

Responding to emergency situations

Complete daily shift reports to communicate with Case Managers

Success In This Role:

Personal Support Worker Certificate or Health Care Aide, DSW, Foreign Trained Nurses, Nursing Leadership, Caregiver with Life Experience

Current CPR/First Aid Certification Preferred

Documentation skills

Ability to follow client care plan

Strong communication skills

Strong problem-solving skills

Excellent customer service skills

$32.00 per hour

Shifts:

Part-time, 2, 3 days per week
