Job description

Our client is currently seeking a Systems Specialist, Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Exchange to join their team. This role is a collaborative and hands‑on position responsible for delivering expert‑level support across end‑user computing (EUC) environments, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and virtual desktop platforms. The successful candidate will contribute to the optimization, stability, and security of Microsoft‑based collaboration and endpoint environments, while supporting innovation and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer, support, and optimize Microsoft Exchange 2016/2019 and related Microsoft 365 collaboration tools
  • Manage and enhance endpoint management platforms, including Microsoft Intune and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) infrastructure to support secure and scalable remote access
  • Build, maintain, and update standardized operating system images and application packages
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement endpoint security, compliance, and protection policies
  • Lead or contribute to IT initiatives such as hardware refresh programs, operating system upgrades, and application deployments
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and internal knowledge base articles
  • Provide Tier 3 escalation support and mentor junior IT staff
  • Partner with business units to deliver timely, process-driven technical solutions aligned with ITIL best practices
  • Stay current with end‑user computing (EUC) trends and recommend improvements to tools and processes
Qualifications
  • University degree or college diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • 3–8 years of experience in IT systems or infrastructure environments
  • Hands‑on experience with:
    • Microsoft Exchange
    • Microsoft Intune
    • Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
    • SCCM
    • Active Directory (AD)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud platform
  • Strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage changing priorities
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Preferred / Assets
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Associate (MCSA) or Microsoft Certified Azure Associate
  • ITIL Foundations Certification
  • Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification
