Job description

We are seeking an End User System Specialist to deliver superior quality solutions through World-Class end user experiences that exceed expectations of the J.D. Irving businesses and their customers, resulting in empowering the organization with Information on demand.

As a technologist, you will develop and deliver end user computing solutions that enable business agility and effectiveness. You will have experience in a complex enterprise environment with a successful track record of delivery, and a deep understanding of technology and how it is applied to enable the business.

All successful applicants must meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

This position requires full-time on-site presence.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver a seamless end user experience with a “Customer First” approach
  • Provide expert technical support for all Unified Communication solutions
  • Ensure the stability, reliability, and optimal performance of the environment
  • Develop, implement and maintain policies for implementing, configuring, maintaining, operating and securing infrastructure
  • Engage in the certification and introduction of new equipment and software for our services and customers (executing testing and acceptance)
  • Manage the implementation and resolution of incidents, problems, changes, service requests and maintenance releases
  • Monitor and analyze infrastructure capacity and performance, recommending improvements to meet evolving business needs
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to serve and support our customers
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in End User Computing technologies
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and technical knowledge transfer to build team expertise in a collaborative and supportive manner
  • Ensure Service Desk Analysts has the right information on Unified Communication Solutions to ensure top-tier customer experience
Qualifications
  • Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 3-8 years of experience
  • Expertise in M365 Services (Office, Windows 10/11, OneDrive, Teams, Microsoft Teams Rooms)
  • Expertise in Collaboration (Cisco Telepresence, Microsoft Teams Rooms)
  • Experience with end point management products i.e Intune and SCCM
  • Certifications – CCNA/CCNP in Collaboration, Microsoft 365 (Desktop, Azure, Teams)
  • Experience working in a cross functional environment
