Qualifications

• Current nursing registration or eligibility for registration.
• Completion of Coronary Care 1 or equivalent within 6 months.
• Current BCLS or CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Utilize nursing process in assessing and planning patient care.
• Responsible for coordinating and delivering care.
• Demonstrate excellence in communication and teamwork.

Skills

Current Certificate of Registration in good standing

Completion of Coronary Care 1 or equivalent

Current certification in BCLS or CPR

Minimum of two years of recent experience in inpatient surgery

Understanding of surgical and anesthesia risk factors

Proficient in adult and pediatric education

Able to cope with physically demanding workload
