Overview

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Supply Chain Continuity Manager (SCQS) (f/m) to join our Metallic Materials Forging & Casting Team based in Toulouse, France.

The metallic raw material, forging and casting perimeter (POMM) is currently organized around 3 commodities and a transversal team: Titanium & Steel, Aluminum & Tubes & Pipes, Forging & Casting and a 4th Supply Chain Continuity team which is transversal and aims to de-risk the industrial situation, manage complex crises and lead the Raw Material HelpDesk project. We monitor more than 200 supplier sites worldwide, supplying parts to all Airbus Final Assembly Lines (FALs) and risk-sharing partners and Airbus group divisions. Our department is made of 4 cross-national teams of SCQ managers, specialists and leads located in GE, UK, FR, US.

Your challenges
  • The tasks will be varied and require you to use and develop different skills and competences.

  • Triggered by SCQM to manage specific missions based on suppliers weak signals.

  • Set up the appropriate governance and recovery toolkit: communication pack, executive summary, Line of Balance, priority board between customers.

  • Strong interactions with the suppliers, SCQM, management lines and customers.

  • Organize lessons learned, improve detections and propose preventive and corrective actions.

  • The recovery mission can be either on delivery aspects or quality topics.

  • This role will involve frequent travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly (~30% of time, 1 to 3 days a week, twice a month).
