We are looking for a student to take on a diverse role that includes patrolling the Bernard Avenue pedestrian zone in the summer to report on damage, activity, and cleanliness, while also assisting with the performance of our patio program, concessions, and boat launches. This includes interacting with the public, litter removal, record‑keeping, and data entry.
Summer Student positions run from May through August. Eligible candidates will be enrolled in and returning to school full‑time in the subsequent academic year and have strong communication, teamwork, customer service, and problem‑solving skills.
The applicant should be comfortable walking for a significant portion of the day.
You must be attending school, college or university during the last school term and returning to your studies in the subsequent academic year. Verification will be required. Enrolment in a formal co‑op program is not required.
International students must be attending school full time, possess a valid study permit and may require a valid co‑op work permit when applying for a co‑op position. Please note that international students can only participate co‑op work terms for up to 50% of their total program of study (example: a 2‑year diploma program is limited to two co‑op work terms).

$24.27 per hour plus 14% in lieu of vacation, statutory holidays and benefits.
Days of work: Tuesday to Saturday. Standard hours per day: 7 hours. Hours of work: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Shift work including days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays may be required.
