Student, Quality and Monitoring – Hybrid
The Alberta Energy Regulator (AER) is seeking a Summer Student to join the talented team within the Information Management & Technology (IMT) branch. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in a dynamic environment while supporting multiple microservices teams.
As a Student, Quality and Monitoring, you will be part of the Shared Products Services (Quality Assurance) team. You will support multiple microservices teams where TypeScript is the primary programming language, and services are deployed to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) using ArgoCD and Azure DevOps pipelines.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with both DevOps and QA teams, with a focus on improving test automation. You will help integrate end‑to‑end (e2e) and integration testing into continuous deployment (CD) pipelines using Playwright, where appropriate. Your contributions will support streamlined quality assurance processes and faster, more reliable delivery.
This role requires strong data analytics and data visualization skills. Familiarity with Azure cloud services and monitoring tools such as Grafana is considered a strong asset.
