Responsibilities
  • Monitor crops for insects, disease, and weeds (IPM scouting)
  • Measure seedling growth (height and diameter)
  • Assist with crop mapping, inventory, irrigation, and fertilization
  • Maintain greenhouse systems and respond to alarms (on‑call rotation)
  • Support all phases of seedling development — from planning to transplanting and risk management
  • Collaborate with expert growers and connect with JDI management for future career opportunities
  • Enjoy a work/life balance working 4 days on/ 4 days off rotation. Allowing you to explore the rich culture the Maritimes have to offer
