Job description

The risk data governance team enforces sound risk management practices by implementing best practices regarding data governance and quantification tools to ensure their integrity, security and accessibility. As a Strategic Advisor, Risk Data Governance, you help the management committee with performance monitoring and planning, change management and the delivery of priority mandates. You lead and influence various stakeholders in connection with files of a strategic and cross-sectoral nature. You also play an advisory role as a risk data governance expert. More specifically, you will be required to:

Responsibilities
  • Support the administrative department with strategic planning and performance monitoring
  • Support the executive division with data governance and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements
  • Report on the quality of cross-sector data for the executive division, including the improvement of significant quality issues
  • Oversee three critical data quality components for the Executive Division: awareness, diagnostic and follow-up/resolution
  • Help develop and perform data strategy for the Risk Management Executive Division
  • Coordinate work with colleagues across multiple disciplines and sectors

What you bring to the table
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of eight years of relevant experience (where you were responsible for large-scale strategic files)
  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Experience writing and delivering presentations to executives
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Intermediate knowledge of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
  • Knowledge of risk management and data governance
