The House of Commons Finance Services is currently looking to staff the Strategic Advisor Asset Management position.
Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for managing complex projects? The Strategic Advisor Asset Management plays a key role in establishing a comprehensive project management framework and business processes to support the seamless transfer of assets—including physical components and connectivity infrastructure—associated with major construction, renovation, and refurbishment projects under the Long-Term Vision and Plan (LTVP) for the Parliamentary Precinct.
Bringing a forward-thinking perspective, the incumbent identifies and evaluates long-term asset management challenges related to LTVP initiatives and anticipates their impact on future asset management requirements, ensuring the interests of the House are protected. This contribution is essential to ensuring the House of Commons long-term operational requirements for asset management.
This role also leads the planning and implementation of approaches and processes for identifying, tracking, and transferring assets from currently occupied House facilities where these assets remain under the authority of Public Services and Procurement Canada. The position is responsible for the ongoing supervision of the Asset Analyst and the Corporate Inventory Officer.
