Responsibilities
The Senior Warehouse Stores Resource will be required to provide the following requirements:
- Perform warehouse duties, such as but not limited to:
- Shipping and receiving all materials;
- Order picking;
- Moving Material from one location to another, either within the warehouse or to another entity;
- Restacking;
- Quality Control;
- Inventory Control;
- Stock Taking;
- Operating the following warehouse equipment:
- Wrapping Equipment;
- Forklift; and
- Basic Hand and Power Tools.
Warehouse administration
- Establish the following electronically:
- Receipt of Materials;
- Location of Materials;
- Client ordering;
- Shipping Receipt for Materials;
- Establishing National Stock Numbers on new material;
- Stocktaking documentation;
- Inventory Control documentation;
- Establish applicable information into SAP.
Security, health and safety
Advise on security, health and safety or improvement of warehouse operations.
Mandatory criteria
- M1 Proponent must clearly demonstrate that the proposed resource has a minimum of three (3) years of experience in providing store services within a warehouse environment.
- M2 Proponent must clearly demonstrate a minimum of three (3) years of experience in using warehouse software applications and warehouse administration.
- M3 Proponent must clearly demonstrate that the Proposed Senior Stores Resource has been certified in Forklift Operations. The following must be provided:
- Copy of certification;
- Institute/Entity that certification was provided from; and
- Issued and Expiration dates.
- Name and description of client organization; and
- Description of Work provided;
- Timeframe (from to dates);
- One (1) Reference (Name, and government email address)
M4 Proponent must clearly demonstrate what warehouse applications/software used by the proposed resource. Such as, but not limited to:- Microsoft Office Suite;
- Inventory Management Software; and
- Shipping and Receiving Software.
M5 Proponent must clearly demonstrate that the proposed resource has SAP experience in the last year.M6 Proponent must clearly demonstrate that the proposed resource has DRMIS experience in the last year.R1 requirements
- R1.1 Proponent should clearly demonstrate that the proposed resource has a minimum of three (3) years of experience in providing store services within a warehouse environment.
- R1.2 Proponent should clearly demonstrate that the proposed resource has a minimum of three (3) years of experience in using warehouse software applications and warehouse administration.
- R1.3 Proponent should clearly demonstrate that the proposed resource has one (1) of the following warehouse training certifications:
- Workplace Health and Safety;
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information Systems (WHMIS);
- Inventory Management;
- Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Training;
- Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP);
- First Aid and CPR.
R1.4 Proponent should clearly demonstrate what warehouse applications/software are used by the proposed resource. Examples include:- Microsoft Office Suite;
- Inventory Management Software; and
- Shipping and Receiving Software.
R1.5 Proponent should clearly demonstrate that the proposed resource has SAP experience in the last year.R1.6 Proponent should clearly demonstrate that the proposed resource has DRMIS experience in the last year.
