Overview

Store Manager / Personal Training Specialist / Nutritionist opportunity with Big Shot Convenience & Nutrition. The successful candidate will assist with the sales and operations of the store, demonstrate and explain products, and process sales quickly, accurately and efficiently. The role is in a dynamic health and wellness retail environment offering vitamins & supplements, smoothies & nutritional beverages, sports nutrition products, and wellness education. This position suits a team player with a strong background in holistic health, nutrition, health and wellness, customer service, and a passion for an active lifestyle.

Responsibilities

• Engage in meaningful conversations with customers and deliver exceptional customer service
• Drive sales to achieve required daily, weekly and monthly targets
• Work well in a team and use available resources to meet customer and store expectations
• Provide customers with relevant information, products and guidance regarding natural health needs
• Replenish and stock merchandise on displays
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized working and shopping environment
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of vitamins, supplements, and other health and beauty items
• Process transactions via POS system
• Comply with all company rules, regulations, policies and sanitation standards

Requirements

• Knowledge of natural health, including vitamins, supplements, and nutrition
• 1-2 years of health product knowledge is an asset
• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
• Ongoing up-to-date knowledge regarding nutrition trends and optimal health
• Knowledge of customer and market dynamics and requirements
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to read, write and effectively communicate in English with customers, peers and management
• Ability to multitask, stay attentive to customers, and be flexible to business needs
• Team player with initiative
• Physical demands: constant movement, talking, hearing, reaching, standing for extended periods; may involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, lifting and climbing ladders
• Enthusiastic, friendly and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service
• Available to work varied hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and overnight shifts
