The Root Cellar is a bustling family-owned market with a big heart and a commitment to fresh and local food. We’re looking for a Store Manager to join our leadership team; someone who thrives in a fast-paced grocery environment and is passionate about people, food and community. Reporting directly to the Retail Operations Manager, the Store Manager leads a collaborative leadership team to drive store profitability and operational excellence. This role oversees gross margin, payroll, inventory management and loss control while ensuring an exceptional customer experience and a vibrant workplace culture. You’ll monitor financial performance, manage resources efficiently, develop and mentor your team and create a shopping environment that delights customers every day. Beyond the numbers, you’ll bring a passion for integrity, sustainability, innovation and positivity—always choosing what is right, not what is easy.
