Department Overview :

Proofpoint’s Digital Communications Governance business unit is looking to expand our team focusing on AI-powered solutions. Our group, based in our downtown Toronto office, has a friendly environment with various teams working closely together to design and deliver innovative software solutions for some of the world’s largest companies.

Role Overview

As a Staff Product Manager, you will develop deep relationships with customers and prospects to uncover unmet needs, understand use cases and workflows, and vet potential solutions. You’ll collaborate with the Product Management team and engineering to communicate problems, use cases, and solutions effectively. Your passion for AI will help shape long-term product strategy and identify new opportunities.

While not required, experience in financial services compliance or legal data investigation (such as discovery) may enhance your ability to engage effectively with customers.

Requirements :

  • 10+ Years of Product Management experience
  • Experience launching user-facing AI features in enterprise solutions
  • Experience gathering customer requirements and documenting use cases
  • Experience working with UX designers and engineering teams to identify solutions
  • Strong evangelist skills to promote the value of our solutions internally and to customers
  • Ability to build business cases for investments
  • Attention to detail in defining product requirements and strategy
  • Proactive engagement with stakeholders
  • Facilitation skills to drive discussions and solutions
  • Ability to read the room and adapt communication accordingly
  • Managing priorities in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment
  • Structured approach to prioritization with justified decision-making

Base Pay Ranges :

  • SF Bay Area, New York City Metro Area: 182,175 - 267,190 USD
  • California (excluding SF Bay Area), Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Washington DC Metro, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Texas, Washington, Virginia, Alaska: 146,550 - 214,940 USD
  • All other locations: 132,975 - 195,030 USD
