Job summary

A leading company in next-generation digital connectivity is seeking a Staff Physical Design Engineer responsible for high-speed digital block design. The ideal candidate will drive physical design processes, optimize designs for area and power, and collaborate across engineering teams to resolve implementation challenges. This position requires 5+ years of experience with advanced nodes and a strong ability to script in languages like TCL and Python.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in physical design for digital ASICs.
  • Hands-on with advanced nodes (e.g., TSMC N5/N4P/N3).
  • Strong scripting capabilities in TCL, Python, or Perl.

Responsibilities

  • Drive all stages of physical design including floor planning and placement.
  • Perform signal/power integrity analysis including IR drop.
  • Conduct physical verification to meet foundry sign-off requirements.
