At 1Password, we’re building the foundation for a safe, productive digital future. Our mission is to unleash employee productivity without compromising security by ensuring every identity is authentic, every application sign‑in is secure, and every device is trusted. We innovated the market‑leading enterprise password manager and pioneered Extended Access Management, a new cybersecurity category built for the way people and AI agents work today. As one of the most loved brands in cybersecurity, we take a human‑centric approach in everything from product strategy to user experience. Over 175,000 businesses and millions of people trust us to provide seamless, secure access to their most critical information.

What you’ll do
  • Unify ownership of the company’s core tool stack within the Enterprise Tools team, including communication and planning tools like Slack, Notion, Google Workspace, Asana, and Zoom, as well as AI enablement tools like ChatGPT.
  • Lead the evaluation and responsible enablement of AI features in enterprise tools, and establish AI‑enabled Enterprise Search as a managed service in alignment with company strategy.
  • Develop and maintain the technical roadmap for the Enterprise Tools team, balancing near‑term priorities with long‑term strategy.
  • Apply deep technical expertise and strategic thinking to design, build, and maintain system integrations between core company applications.
  • Lead the team in making strategic decisions on core service configurations (e.g., feature enablement, retention policies, compliance guardrails), balancing enterprise‑wide consistency with business unit needs.
  • Establish governance and ecosystem design standards for enterprise integrations so that company‑wide workflows are consistent, reliable, and able to scale.
  • Guide the team’s ownership of vendor relationships end‑to‑end for core business tools, including tool selection, RFPs, renewals, license management, and staying current on vendor roadmaps to ensure the tools fit company needs.
  • Partner with IT, Enterprise L&D, Security, Procurement, and business system owners to deliver an efficient centralized tool experience.
What we’re looking for
  • 7+ years of IT or enterprise systems experience, including 2+ years at a senior or staff IC level, with a track record of building and scaling enterprise systems.
  • Broad knowledge of enterprise productivity ecosystems, procurement processes, and system integration practices.
  • Deep expertise integrating, configuring and optimizing core enterprise platforms such as Slack, Notion, Google Workspace, Zoom, Asana, including utilization of Tines, Okta workflows, APIs, and other tooling.
  • Proven ability to define and drive technical roadmaps, seeing around corners and balancing long‑term vision with near‑term execution.
  • Experience leading the evaluation and enablement of AI features within enterprise platforms, ensuring secure and responsible adoption.
  • Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills across complex, rapidly scaling organizations.
  • Leadership and mentorship that helps grow and maintain a collaborative, focused, and impactful team.
Success in this role looks like
  • A clear technical roadmap for the next 12 months for the Enterprise Tools team, including ownership of core enterprise tools and laying the foundation for future ownership of specialized business systems.
  • Establish metrics as basis for goal setting and standards for uptime, reliability, and employee enablement.
  • Standards established and documented for core service configurations and business systems integrations. (e.g., data retention policies, access rules, feature enablement, integration frameworks)
  • An AI enablement strategy in place that balances innovation with security, privacy, and compliance.
  • Vendor strategy aligned with company needs, informed by maintaining currency with vendor roadmaps and ensuring fit over time.
