Plans, designs, and furnishes interiors of commercial office buildings. Formulates designs that are practical, aesthetic, and conducive to intended purposes (e.g. raising employee productivity or selling financial products and services) in accordance with environmental, safety, and other regulations to minimize adverse environmental impact and maximize energy conservation (e.g. applying Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) standards). Develops and governs current Retail Design Guidelines used across the retail portfolio to support the vision, strategy, and operation of the Bank’s physical channels (i.e. branches and ATMs) and engage customers to meet their needs. Acts as a consultant to the architectural design to translate business requirements into physical premises. Works with interior designers to design facilities, including furniture, conceptual design, look and feel, colour, and materials.

Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
